With the opening of OMG Baked Goodness, a new sweet and savory pastry shop, the emerging Dundas West strip has taken yet another step in the right direction.
Owner and dessert guru Lesley Mattina has expanded her successful company, specializing in frozen ready to bake products, toserve directly to the public. On offer are delectables such as bitter sweet chocolate gauche topped with lavender, cream cheese brownies and the house special, mini vegan cupcakes.
Lesley’s selection of can’t bake them fast enough savory products include scones, turnovers and garlic & herb roasted focacciatopped with Himalayan crystal salt. With Lesley’s policy of baking both sweet and savory throughout the day, there’s always something fresh out the oven.
OMG Baked Goodness is open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 til 7 (6 on Sundays). Lesley will also be offering cooking classes in the new year.
Nyood Bar, the new evening space above Nyood restaurant from Hanif Harji (Kultrua), Rob Banton (West Salon and Spa) and Aaron Prothro, has now opened on West Queen West.
